Laundry/Laundromat Angels-Help Cats
We need Laundry Angels who are willing to help with the lightly soiled clinic laundry by taking it to a laundromat or home to their personal washers & dryers. Due to the drought we know many of you are not running your home washing machines very often, which we absolutely understand. Or, you may even be on a well & being mindful. We are hoping some Laundromat Laundry Angels will be willing to donate their time & energy taking the laundry to a laundromat instead. When you come to pick up some bags we will give you money to pay for the washing & drying, simply checkc with Jami at Reception. Please note we are cutting back on our laundry usage as much as possible because of the drought, but we are still finding ourselves in dire need of help. If you prefer to use your own machines at home, that is wonderful too! We greatly appreciate the support either way.
We call these volunteers "Angels" for a reason! Having linens clean & ready to use is vital for our organization.
Instructions:
-Call our office at (707) 576-7999 Monday-Friday and ask Jami if there is laundry to take (or simply stop by if you are in the area)
-Ask Jami for laundry money when you come to pick up if you are going to the laundromat.
-She will get you soiled laundry and red bags to return it in (we throw away anything deeply soiled with bodily fluid/waste.)
-Use detergent & warm water. NO liquid softeners or rinses please.
-Dry, fold & return in red bags M-F 9-5PM.
