MLK Day with the Land Trust at Connolly Ranch

Spend the morning outside with the Land Trust of Napa County at Connolly Ranch working to restore oak woodland habitat.  We’ll learn to identify and remove invasive plant species such as French broom, periwinkle and Himalayan blackberry. Instruction, tools and snacks will be provided.

What to bring: Be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good tread  and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear layers for changing weather and remember to bring a water bottle.  We will have gloves available though you are welcome to bring your own.

Timing: 10am to 12:30pm

Where: Connolly Ranch, 3141 Browns Valley Rd, Napa, CA 94558

This is a great project for ages 10 and up.  All minors will need to be accompanied by an adult and will need to have a signed waiver to participate.
