Stow It- Don't Throw It! Help Protect Wildlife this MLK Day

Napa Valley CanDo will be showing young people how to make reusable personal fishing line containers to give to local fishermen and women. Anglers can store their tangled, unusable monofilament fishing line in these until it can be safely thrown away in a landfill/trash can or a special fishing line recycling receptacle. This action helps protect local wildlife from entanglement and ingestion of the line, which can cause injury and death. Stow It- Don't Throw It is a youth-driven project so we invite young people, age 12-18, to participate. We'll provide materials and instructions.
