9/11 Weekend of Service Green Waste Event: Traffic Volunteers Needed

Become a Green Waste traffic coordinator volunteer for the Green Valley Fire Safe Council on this 9/11 Weekend of Service & Remembrance! 

What: Ensure that vehicles are pulling up to the green waste bins in the correct place by communicating with the bin managers

When: Saturday, September 10th from 8am to 1pm

Where: 1634 Rockville Road, Fairfield, CA 94534 by the Cordelia Fire Station 

Traffic Coordinator Volunteer Requirements: 

  • Serve as a liaison between those doing registration and the those working at the green waste bins. 
  • Communicate with the volunteers working at the bins to find out where the next vehicle should pull up to unload the green waste.
