Council on Aging - Lunch and socialization with an isolated senior
Our Lunch Companion / Friendly visitor programs aim to provide companionship and conversation for you and our isolated seniors. The programs consists of being paired with an isolated senior Wheels client who is looking for someone to visit and spend some time with. Online training is included. All volunteers must have their own transportation to get to the client. Froen lunches are provided and are optional. The meals would need to be picked up at the Meals on Wheels kitchen.
ALL volunteers are required to complete the following before volunteering:
- Registration Packet
- A cleared fingerprinting scan with Ameriprings. This is a FREE service.
- A copy of your driver's license.
