What We Do:
Vivalon helps Marin County's older adults and disabled individuals live active, healthy and independent lives by providing transportation, socialization, education, health and wellness, nutrition, information and referral, and multicultural programs in a community-based setting.
Who We Are:
Vivalon's Healthy Aging Center at 999 Third Street in San Rafael provides delicious meals, educational classes, multicultural gatherings, and information and referral services. Vivalon also provides special needs transportation, such as trips to medical appointments and grocery stores, as well as delivering meals for homebound clients. Vivalon is looking for dedicated, caring, and fun-loving volunteers! We offer volunteer driving opportunities for the Meals on Wheels program and for our CarePool program (where volunteers use their own cars to bring individuals to appointments or grocery shopping). We also have opportunities for outgoing volunteers to help as servers and cashiers in the Vivalon Cafe.
