Do you enjoy contemporary art, meeting new people, and spending time in a beautiful natural setting? Volunteer Gallery Attendants play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and informative environment for every visitor.
Volunteer Shifts: Thursday–Sunday, 11:00 AM–1:30 PM or 1:30 PM–4:00 PM
Responsibilities Include:
- Share information about current exhibitions, the collection, and upcoming programs
- Ensure visitor safety and protect artwork by monitoring behavior in the galleries
- Assist with directions, wayfinding, and museum policies (e.g., photography, food/drink)
- Help manage visitor flow during peak times
Qualifications:
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for art
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand or walk through galleries during assigned shifts
- Minimum of 2 shifts per month; at least 16 years old
