Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Volunteers Needed!
Northern Sonoma County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is recruiting volunteers to respond to our community and neighbors in need when disaster strikes. Training is required and provided for individuals and groups interested in serving. CERT volunteers respond to the needs of their local communities as well as mutually assisting areas in need within Sonoma County. Trainings are available in English and Spanish. CVNL coordinates spontaneous volunteers during a disaster. Are you interested in joining us helping others in times of need?
Are you a licensed health professional – Nurse, Doctor, EMT/ Paramedic, Behavioral Health, Pharmacist – who can provide heath-medical services to those impacted by a disaster? Volunteer with the Medical Reserve Corps!
Do you want to help provide general support during a disaster, as in mass care at an evacuation shelter; get needed supplies; assist with recovery after an event? Volunteer with the American Red Cross!
Community Emergency Response Team volunteers respond to our community and neighbors in need when disaster strikes. Required training (such as emergency command operations, search and rescue, first aid and triage) is provided for volunteers interested in serving. Learn more about your local CERT program:
Sonoma Community Animal Response Team assists Sonoma County and local animal response agencies during an emergency or disaster, as well as provide training and education in animal disaster preparedness, response and recovery.
