Job Title: Workshop Promotion Team
Purpose
Be part of a team of volunteers publicizing and promoting Emergency Prep Help’s free public workshops throughout Sonoma County.
Location
Remote with some travel required for posting flyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Write/edit and post press releases and announcements in newspapers, newsletters, and other print or digital channels.
- Write/edit and send public service announcements to radio stations.
- Email flyers to EPH’s community partners, businesses, and other organizations and contacts, to distribute to their communities.
- Work alone or manage other volunteers to post paper flyers at businesses, government offices, libraries, community centers, senior centers, cafes and other community hubs.
- Send workshop flyers/announcements to EPH’s Social Media Mgr for posting (Facebook and Instagram).
Time Commitment and Frequency: 1-3 hours per week
Qualifications: Media or PR experience would be helpful
Reports to: Operations Manager
