Park-A-Month Volunteers Needed!
Bring your friends and work together, or come and meet new people while helping to keep our parks in great shape! These family-friendly workdays are a fun and productive way to help beautify a park or community center through tasks such as litter pickup, spreading mulch, cleaning play area equipment and picnic barbecues, weeding, and more. Hand tools and gloves will be provided, or bring your own (no power tools). Please note, All children must be signed in by an adult or bring a completed Parent Permission Form. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.Cleanups are held rain or shine.

- February 12, 2022: Franklin Community Park
- March 12, 2022: Arbor Day Tree Planting Party | Rincon Valley Community Park
- April 9, 2022: Coffey Park
- May 14, 2022: Howarth Community Park
- June 11, 2022: Southwest Community Park
- July 9, 2022: Galvin Community Park
- August 13, 2022: Youth Community Park
- September 10, 2022: A Place to Play
- October 8, 2022: Finley Community Park
- November 12, 2022: Doyle Community Park
- December 10, 2022: Northwest Community Park
Clean-Up Tasks
Typical clean-ups tasks include:
- Raking leaves
- Litter pickup
- Cleaning play equipment areas
- Sweeping pathways
- Spreading mulch
- Removing weeds
What to Wear/Things to Bring
- Wear sturdy shoes or boots, it may be muddy
- Sun hat/sunscreen are recommended
- Bring gloves, rakes, hula-hoes and digging shovels, if desired
- Bring drinking water
- Bring a smile and plan to have fun
