ReStore Lighting Dept. Volunteer - Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County

ReStore is looking for volunteers with specialized electrical experience! Knowledge of the hazards of electrical equipment is a must. Handyman skills and the ability to use small hand tools (ex. screwdriver, pliers, wire cutters, scissors, price gun, etc.) Patience and willingness to solve problems is highly desired and legible handwriting is useful. Main duties include testing lamps, lighting and ceiling fans for functionality, repairing fixture if capable and worthwhile, cleaning and pricing items, and assisting with hanging fixtures for display on the retail floor (with or without an electrical connection (electrical connection requires attaching power cord with wire nuts).
