Want to help our 90 year old museum preserve an exhibit showcasing the legacy of Californio Ranchos in Marin County? The Marin History Museum is seeking a volunteer with experience in 3D capture, virtual tours, or digital storytelling to help us preserve and share a temporary two-room exhibit. This exhibit will be taken down at the end of December, and we are looking to create a high-quality, interactive 3D virtual tour with integrated audio narration that can live on our website for long-term public access.

Key Responsibilities:
· Capture a two-room exhibit space using 3D scanning, photogrammetry, or virtual tour software
· Design and produce an interactive virtual walkthrough experience
· Incorporate audio narration or interpretive elements to enhance visitor engagement
· Collaborate with museum staff to ensure accurate representation of exhibit content
· Deliver a final product that can be embedded or hosted on the museum’s website
Preferred Skills & Experience:
· Experience with 3D capture tools
· Familiarly with virtual tour platforms or web-based interactive media
· Audio recording/editing experience (a plus)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a timeline
Support Provided: Museum staff will provide a script and a narrator for the audio component and will be available to collaborate throughout the project to ensure accuracy and alignment with exhibit goals.

· Final deliverable: Before end of November 2026
