Who We Are
Vision Impaired of Marin (VIM) is a San Rafael-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in 1974. It offers peer support groups, a talking book club, art classes, luncheons, and social, educational programs to foster independence and fellowship.
What We Do
- Mission: To enhance the lives of individuals experiencing vision loss through support, information, and community engagement.
- Programs: Includes a monthly Zoom support group, a Talking Book Club, social luncheon events, and art classes for people with limited or no sight.
- Support: Helps residents adjust to vision loss, providing resources for empowerment and reducing isolation.
