Who We Are
The Alzheimer's Association® is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia®. The mission of the Alzheimer's Association is to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
What We Do
The Alzheimer's Association offers free resources to the millions of people facing Alzheimer's and other dementia, including in-person and online education and support programs, the free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and the alz.org website. We're the world's largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's and dementia research, and we provide critical international leadership to advance methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure. Through the Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM), a separately incorporated advocacy affiliate, we work with policymakers at the federal and state level, and we mobilize volunteers and communities nationwide to take action against the disease.
