Justice in Health Dinner – April 21, 2018 Jewish Community Free Clinic is hosting its annual Justice in Health Dinner on Saturday April 21 2018. Volunteers are needed for set-up and serve dinner, between 1:30pm and 8:30pm; flexible volunteer shifts. Event will take place at Congregation Shomrei Torah, 2600 Bennett Valley Rd. in Santa Rosa. “Wishes in Wine Country” Gala – May 19, 2018 Help” Make-A-Wish” at their wine-tasting gala to make kids’ wishes come true! This event is held on Saturday, May 19, at the Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards in Windsor. Up to 180 volunteers are needed to pour wine, help with the live auction, setup/breakdown, and more. Native Plant Garden Volunteer Day – First Friday of the Month from 9am – Noon

Details: Share your passion for pollinators by helping our native plant garden thrive! Activities include planting, weeding, spreading wood chips, and general site cleanup. No experience necessary.
Laguna Stewardship Days – Once a month on a Saturday from 9am – Noon
Dates: March 17, April 14 and the season finale on May 5, 2018

Details: Help care for the Laguna and restore critical wildlife habitat! Tasks vary depending on the season and include removing old irrigation hardware from successful restoration projects, sewing seeds, planting native plants and trees, and weeding. No experience necessary.

The Human Race
This race is the “funnest” and largest fund-raiser in Sonoma County, In 2016, there were over 8,000 participants with almost $600,000 raised to date for over 225 vital nonprofits in Sonoma County. It is a huge event with many important volunteer roles.
