SPEAK to one of our specialists (the interview).  

RECEIVE your assignment. We will get back to you within ## days to let you know where you are needed and where to report. If you are not needed immediately, we will still get back to you.

Native Plant Garden Volunteer Day – First Friday of the Month from 9am – Noon
Dates: March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, 2018
Location: Laguna Environmental Center, 900 Sanford Road, Santa Rosa, CA
Details: Share your passion for pollinators by helping our native plant garden thrive! Activities include planting, weeding, spreading wood chips, and general site cleanup. No experience necessary.

Laguna Stewardship Days – Once a month on a Saturday from 9am – Noon
Dates: March 17, April 14 and the season finale on May 5, 2018
Location: Details of the site location announced 1-2 weeks in advance of the workday. Check www.lagunafoundation.org for worksite.
Details: Help care for the Laguna and restore critical wildlife habitat! Tasks vary depending on the season and include removing old irrigation hardware from successful restoration projects, sewing seeds, planting native plants and trees, and weeding. No experience necessary.

Food Distribution Support, Cypress Ridge, Santa Rosa

Burbank Housing is looking for 6 long-term volunteers who can commit 2.5-3 hours weekly on Tuesdays to organize and run a REFB food distribution program at our affordable housing property, Cypress Ridge, 2239 Meda Ave, Santa Rosa, 95404. Hours-8 am-11 am. Contact services@burbankhousing.org.

Become a Laguna Volunteer!

Needed—Docents, Guides and Greeters! Docents will teach “Learning Laguna” in schools and on 2nd-4th grade field trips; Guides will do public education programs while engaging/teaching participants; and Greeters will support Heron Hall and do outreach at community events. The Pony Express

The Pony Express needs volunteers to assist in the pony corral at Howarth Park on weekends beginning in February from 11:00-4:00 (weather permitting). California Welcome Center

Help a Child Learn to Read!
