Needs From: Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership

Volunteer: Warehouse Volunteer - Help Stock Our New, Bigger Thrift Store!

Pick of the Litter has moved into a much larger location, and we need enthusiastic volunteers to help us keep the shelves full. Warehouse volunteers sort donations, clean items, and price merchandise so it can get out onto the sales floor quickly. This is a hands-on role that directly supports our mission by helping us turn donated goods into funds that benefit cats in need. If you enjoy staying active, working independently, and making a visible impact, we'd love to have you join us!

Duties may include:
- Sorting donated items
- Cleaning and preparing merchandise
- Pricing and tagging items
- Organizing inventory and warehouse spaces
- Helping keep the sales floor stocked and looking great

Volunteer Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Good hand dexterity for cleaning, sorting, tagging, and pricing items
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time
- Comfortable performing light physical work and lifting donated items as needed
- Reliable and detail-oriented

No prior experience is necessary—we'll provide training. Your help will make a direct impact by getting more merchandise onto our shelves and generating more funds to support cats in need.
