Volunteer Opportunities for the Human Race
Course Monitor: direct runners and walkers along the race route.
Run Registration: Register runners at Slater Middle School before the race.
Walk Registration: hand out walk bid numbers to walkers, collecting deposits and pledge sheets.
Start Line: Assist at the beginning of the race by holding a sign that will indicate where the runners and walkers will line up. After the participants have left the area, please assist at the finish line.
Data Entry: Enter run tag information into computer. This takes place in the gymnasium.
Finish Line Help: Assist with directing walkers and runners down the right finish shoot.
Tabulation: After the race, assist for a couple of hours Tabulating pledges at Volunteer Center.
Clean Up: volunteers will do a thorough sweep of Slater Middle School, loading vehicles with Volunteer Center supplies and cleaning up area, taking down banners, tables and chairs.
Pancake Breakfast: Assist with setting up for Breakfast, passing out breakfast plates and drinks, helping with clean up.
Fun & Games Booth: Sign up nonprofits and individuals for the Fun & Games Contest. Assist with picture taking of groups
