Literacy Connection Program is celebrating its 10th Anniversary

Mark this date:

      July 10, 2008    9:30-11:30

    Volunteer Center of Sonoma County

153 Stony Point Rd, Ste. 100 Santa Rosa

This will be the first orientation/training for the Literacy Connection Program

for the new school year 2008-2009.  Schools will begin opening on August 13.

Here is a chance to learn about the program – how you can get involved

and what your commitment will be.

Volunteer opportunities will be discussed – and forms will be available for

the fingerprinting process.   All volunteers going into a classroom must be

fingerprinted and processed through the Department of Justice.  All volunteers

are required to have a current negative TB (tuberculosis) test.    All of this at

no cost to you.

I look forward to meeting you and to having a chance to talk with you

about our program.  You are welcome to call

                                                     Barbara Fisher, 707-573-3399 X122.
