What is Secret Santa?
Sonoma County's Secret Santa has brought joy to people in our community for over 20 years!
Sonoma County’s Secret Santa helps ensure that kids, teens, adults, and seniors who would not otherwise have a holiday gift, are able to smile and have hope during the holiday season.
The helping hand extended by generous individuals and families to individuals & families in need ensures that our hearts are connected!
How Can I Get Involved?
Now is your chance to be a part of one of the most incredible HELPING PROGRAMS in Sonoma County! Secret Santa is a collaboration between The Volunteer Center, KZST Radio, and Friedman’s Home Improvement. We HELP people in need during the holidays!!
Secret Santa collected and distributed over 14,000 gifts last year. Now YOU, TOO, CAN BE part of Sonoma County’s Secret Santa!

Adopt a letter for a family or individual when read on KZST or pick out a letter online
*The Secret Santa red gift heart ornaments will start showing up in Sonoma County Businesses on November 21st. KZST will start reading Secret Santa Letters on the day after Thanksgiving.

How It All Began...
The GIVING TREE began in 1989 at The Volunteer Center with gift wishes for individuals on Red Heart Ornaments displayed on trees around the county.
KZST started the SECRET SANTA program in 1990 with Brent Ferris reading letters about individuals and families and what they needed.
The Giving Tree and Secret Santa joined forces in 2008 to provide a better way to meet the growing need at the holidays.

located throughout the county…
from Santa Rosa to Cloverdale to Petaluma to Sonoma and out to the Coast.
Last year over 14,000 gifts were given to the clients of over
100 social service agencies and schools.
