The Human Race is the largest collaborative fund-raising event for nonprofits in Sonoma County and the largest Human Race in the nation! This event has been a part of Sonoma County for over 30 years and continues to grow. In 2011, the Race raised $870,534 for 252 local nonprofits. Over 9,500 runners and walkers participated on race day and nearly 50,000 people donated $5, $10 or $50 dollars. The Volunteer Center provides marketing, publicity, materials, and experienced assistance.
