Agilent Environmental Challenge

As part of the "Hands Across the County" program, AgilentTechnologies and the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County are challenging local businesses and their employees to join Agilent volunteers in quarterly half-day environmental projects. Challenge events take place annually on the first Friday of the month in February, April, August and November.

The first Agilent Environmental Challenge took place on Friday, April 25, 2008. Medtronic employees joined Agilent volunteers at the Laguna de Santa Rosa, where they tended trees that had been planted by Agilent workers the year before.  Joint Agilent and Medtronic teams picked up litter and debris at Doran Beach and got to know each other at the same time.

Sonoma County companies are invited to join Agilent and Medtronic in making a difference for our environment.Click here for a list of projects.

Nonprofit agencies are encouraged to submit descriptions of environmental projects and the number of volunteers needed to the Volunteer Center. Click here for form to submit your request.
